I sit in front of a computer and broadcast live video throughout the day (http://www.scheffxp.com). Some of it is entertaining and the rest is garbage. But for some reason most people get a kick out of watching my boring day go by.

So there is a problem, some of the bits work on youtube and some don't. Without seeing the chat or being apart of it sometimes the videos are boring. Sometimes I record the videos out of something else, so it might be in response to someone in the chat room, phone call, emails, IM's, etc...

Is it translating to youtube out of context into context? That is the question. Or am I still making a fool of myself, but you dig it?

PING.FM check it out, they cover most of the popular "social networking" sites out there. And for me, the most important sites I deal with daily are Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and my own site Scheffmusic.com (Part of the ning network). As of now ping will not update the ning platform, but I hear they are working on that in the very near future. So, getting back on track.

I know some of you have multiple profiles all over the net and you are blogging on one, commenting on another, updating what you are doing on yet ANOTHER site... ping.fm has solved and saved me MAJOR time... and what does the time = ??? money or time away from family and friends and WORK!!!!

So the best part about this new find for me, probably OLD for most of you GEEKS out there... is that now I can update a site like twitter via my cel phone!

All I do is call and give a quick update... gotta speak clearly and at a decent pace. and BAM!!! your twitter is updated and I didn't type, log in, open a laptop.. nada... I made a call... MONEY BABY!!!!

So just realize that this blog is being posted to at least 10+ social sites right now... and I am only typing and pressing submit ONCE! I love that!
